Shine’s Silo Guards

The Silo Guard is placed between the polythene silage sheet and the tyres to give a protective layer
against birds and vermin. The guard is made up of layers of woven UV protected plastic strips with
stainless steel eyelets around the edges to secure it down.
Shine’s silo guard is a lighter weight cover than its competitors for easily handling, however this does
not take away from its durability. The sheet comes in one size only 14m X 10m which can be turned
either way to fit most sized pits. Silo guards are also commonly used to cover bales of grass silage.
