Sublime animal bedding

Sublime animal bedding contains 80% sawdust and 20% lime. Hydrated lime is a caustic material which can burn cows teats and skin, and thus, a blend of calcium carbonate is used instead of a hydrated lime option. The sawdust is highly absorbent, while the lime maintains pH levels and therefore, animal welfare and comfort is increased. As a result, lying time is increased which reduces BCS loss and supports milk yield.
