Growing Maize under film is very straight forward and easily done once a number of measures are adhered to.

In order to insure a profitable crop Shines Agri will survey the site in January/February to highlight agronomy concerns, taking the following site characteristics into account;

• Soil Sampling (FOC)
• Site Altitude/Gradient
• Site Access
• Previous Crop Rotations
• Signs of ground compaction

Shines Agri will require this information to best select a seed hybrid and can then consider a time table for ground works and delivery to be carried out. For every ones benefit a rep will call during the growing season to evaluate the crop and look for possible improvements for future crops, harvest date and storage techniques.
